And I’m Running

Errands, that is. Well, okay, one errand, which sort of ballooned into a shopping expedition, but at least the object we went in search of has more or less been found; we have a new phone.

Now, I’m not talking about some fancy smart phone with a touch screen and a brain smarter than my first two computers combined. I’m talking about a simple hand-held phone with buttons and wires and stuff. Or at least, that’s what I would be talking about if they sold such things in reliable stores any more. They don’t. I ended up having to buy a wireless phone with one of those little charger base stations and the hassle of it shutting off if the power goes out, which it does every now and then. *sigh*

The cat just had a kibble panic-induced vomit attack. These are things you need to know about my life. Stop looking at me like that.

I’m going over to my buddy Rich’s to drink and sing karaoke with an old school friend who happens to play a mean bass.

There hasn’t been much in the way of posting, because there hasn’t been much in the way of getting work done. It’s sad, really.

On the up side, I may have a solution to the problem of how to finance the book award reviewer copies of Terminal Monday; a British friend of mine is offering to pay for them if I send him a signed copy of my latest book.

That won’t get done until the weekend, and I think I’m gonna need another transfusion of money myself just to take care of the overdue rent. It. Never. Ends.

I think it’s going to be Chicken Strips and French Fries for dinner tonight. We live in splendour, I know.

Tomorrow, I shall attempt to write a music review for some of the music I’ve fallen behind on reviewing, but have been enjoying enough that I really ought to review them. We’ll see.

Time to go. Have a great evening. Thank you for reading.

Lee.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
