Back To The Start… Again

Well, I’ve copy/pasted the start of my novel, PERPETUAL TUESDAY, a good 18000 words, into my reject folder. It was good stuff, so I haven’t deleted it. I’ve just removed it from the immediate environs of the novel. Some of it may resurface later, when it fits better. Or maybe none of it will. Hard to say at this point.

And the point I’m at now is, I have to replot the novel. The premise is the same. I just need to get it organized and paced better. I don’t know how long this will take, or when I will restart writing the novel. I’d like to start again soon, but I’ve got a lot of other stuff coming up. An Etcetera Thesis concept album. A series of paintings and (perhaps) a mural to design and paint. Other novels and collections I wanted to have ready this Christmas.

And Participatory Budgeting. Joanna, Dawn and I are back in harness, and preparing for 2014. We want to fix what didn’t work as smoothly as folks seem to feel it should have. We want to bring more people to the table. We want to mend fences, heal wounds, and bring direct democracy to Hamilton, for good.

Yeah, basically, we’re out of our minds. Thanks for asking.

It’s going to be pretty busy over the next little bit. I’ll try to keep you in the loop.

Thanks for reading. Enjoy your day of rest.

Lee.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
