I’d Love To Tuuuurrrrnnn Yooooouuuu Ooooooonnnn…

Good Afternoon, Mackronauts:

I’d also love to write something really cool for you to read. I’m so tired, all I want to do is curl up in bed and sleep for a few more hours, though.

Last night, I went to a karaoke party at a friend’s house. It was a pretty raucous event, and I murdered my voice again. Sadly, my vocal cords are not in prime condition these days. Gonna see a doctor about it in a couple of weeks.

I’m steadfastly NOT remixing Show Me Something today, even though I’ve got the files loaded into Adobe Audition (sorry, Sonar fans; I’m also a graphic designer, and I’m more comfortable in an Adobe environment, so far).

I did some math and figured out that I have remixed approximately half of the album (13 out of 24 tracks, but some of them are very short). I STILL haven’t rerecorded anything, however.

Today is the twelfth anniversary of the death of Paul Young, former co-lead vocalist for Mike + the Mechanics. I’m listening to him sing Nobody’s Perfect right now. Magnificent.

Here are the album tracks remixed so far:
Out of Time
One Up On You
Light Gardening/Dinner Date/The Remains of Light Gardening
I’m Gone Again
With Trowel In Hand…/She’s Like The Weather/…We Dig In The Garden
Lady In The Field
No One In The World
Last Call
Here It Comes Again

Well, that’s all I’ve got for today. I’ll try to get something up earlier tomorrow. Thanks for reading. Hope you’ve had a nice weekend.

Eddie.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
