Politics and world issues are bumming me out, today. Too muck knee-jerk, neo-conservative dogma floating around. Right-of-Center Austerity budgets from all parties, with promises of no new taxes (for the extremely rich, though the promises are made to the desperate middle classes), while promising the moon to anyone who will listen and vote, regardless of the contradictions or lack of coherent vision or core values. I have almost no idea who to vote for in the upcoming Provincial or Municipal elections, because too many of my party’s members are leaning so far right these days, in complete denial of their socialist and progressive values. I’m considering crossing party lines for the first time in my life, not because my politics are represented better by the other party, but because my party is supporting policies I can’t condone. It’s embarrassing when the centrist party is more progressive than the lefty party.

Anyway, I have a novel to write, a mural to draw, songs to work out and record, and I feel like I have no time at all to do them. And I’m a bit tired. might be a humidifier problem. BRB…

…Yup, livingroom humidifier was dry as a bone. Time to refill and hope. Also, my lover back is aching. Good fun. Naproxen to the rescue!

Okay, going to get showered, get dressed, and get writing.

Thank you for reading. Have a great day.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
