Quiet Day

Gary’s not coming for rehearsal today; tomorrow, he says. That’s alright. I’m kind of thinking about the books right now. I’ve started back to the job of transcribing Centrifugal Farce for LinkTales volume 2, but really, I need to get back to work on LinkTales volume 1, so I can get it out the door and up on Smashwords.

I’ve posted to most of the blogs today, except the Etcetera Thesis Music blog, basically because I spent a bit too much time on that blog this week already. I’ve posted three or four albums’ worth of demo material over there, some of which has never been heard anywhere before. I do have to go over there and write up a post about Steep Inclinations, the working title I’ve assigned for the next Etcetera album I want to be working on after the Thesis album Gary and I are working on now, which is called The Whole Other Half (Bisecting a Circumference pt 2).

S.I. will, as far as I can tell, be a collection of rerecordings of old Etcetera and Philo’s Thesis demos that had a distinctly progressive rock flavour, and are not assigned to another album project at present (like Dinner Date, which Gary and I are planning on recording for tWOH). I figure it’s long past time I got around to recording some of the music I got into music to record. Not getting any younger.

So, I guess I’ll go write that post and then get back to work on LinkTales. With any luck, I’ll have it done and posted for sale before the weekend. Wish me luck. Or better yet, buy my books.

Oh! And by the way, what do you think of my snazzy new masthead? I made it myself! *preens*

Lee.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
