Somewhere Out On That Horizon, Out Beyond The Neon Lights

Hello, My Darling Mackaholics,

I’m quite tired and haven’t the energy to write anything extrravagant today. This new medication I’m taking to help me sleep—an anti-anxiety pill, actually—doesn’t give me a hangover like the last prescription, but it makes me drowsy for hours after I wake up, and very little gets done. Can’t decide which is worse: running ragged due to lack of sleep, or sleeping well but having no energy for work the next day.

This morning, I am playing some Synergy music. I do not have a vast collection of Larry Fast’s weork, but I’ve liked everything I’ve heard. Larry Fast is one of those guys who made synthesizer music that was so big and so cool, it feels like you’re watching a movie with each piece. Very cool digital experiments, and very, very musical.

My agent still hasn’t gotten up, but I suppose that’s alright. I have stuff to work on regardless. I also have some fiction I’m supposed to be reading for a friend, but I keep putting it off until the end of the day when I can only manage a few pages before falling asleep (meds again). There are also errands to run today, so I should get some warm clothes on (it’s raining today) and go take care of that.

All of which goes to say, it’s time for me to go. Have a great day, and thank you for reading. I’ll try to be more interesting tomorrow.

Eddie.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
