Tiny Drops of Wasted Water Are The Price We Pay

I’m sorry I’m running late with the post today. I’ve been working on the cover for The Bride of War. Lettering, mostly, but I have a plan to apply what I’ve done to what I’m trying to do for the cover, using the old graphite transfer trick. I’d do a blue line print, but I’m working on paper that’s too large for my printer. Although… I don’t really NEED to do the image on large drawing paper, since I’m only going to have to scan it in in chunks anyway. Perhaps it would be better if I just composed and blue line printed it, and draw the parts separately. I have drawing paper I can do that with, at least.

I also discovered last year’s ProjeKct 7 album, the latest side project of King Crimson boss Robert Fripp. He says it’s not quite Crimson, and I’m inclined to agree, but it is a lovely listen, nevertheless. It has some toothy bits, including ‘The Other Man’, which is a pretty Crim-like track. I could handle hearing more of this sort of thing. I’ll be writing a proper album review some time in the next few days.

I should take something for my aching back, and then get back to work.

Eddie.

Don't be shy. Tell me what you really think, now.
